By using a Himalayan Salt Lamp, you replace the negatively charged ions in the air, which helps us avoid the alleged physical and mental damage that “electric smog” creates.
This Salt Lamp weighs 3-5 KG and comes with a 1.5 metre long electric cable and a light bulb. Each lamp is completely unique.
Please note: Due to the hygroscopic properties of salt, Himalayan salt lamps absorb moisture from the air.
If your lamp is “sweating” or leaking water, this is usually because it has been switched off for long periods, especially in humid conditions. To remedy this, leave it in bright sunlight for 4 to 5 hours and remove excess crystals with a brush. Or wipe gently with a dry cloth.
If you don’t use the Himalayan salt lamp for long periods of time (e.g. on holiday), unplug the cable and remove it from the lamp.
In damp conditions, we recommend placing the lamp on a small tray or plate to prevent water from accumulating.
